A made in the USA LT225/75-16 E at 2680 lbs would be a great upgrade for your lighter weight trailer and 3.5k or 5.2k axles. You could still run the max sidewall pressure on this size tire. The LT245/75 or LT235/85 is a 3042 lb rated tire has too much load capacity and not the best idea for a tire on a trailer with a 2150 lb OEM C tires.
I would choose a tire with a 15-20 percent reserve capacity above your OEM size that way you can still use max tire pressures.
