I use Happy Camper in my black water tank. It liquefies waste, including breaking down toilet paper. Any two-ply toilet paper intended for use with septic systems can be used with no problem. Happy Camper also controls odor by promoting aerobic bacteria which kills odor causing anaerobic bacteria. Happy Camper only costs me 70 cents per fill/dump cycle and does not require using copious amounts of water. I even stopped back flushing as nothing else comes out when I do it, so why bother?

What ever you do, don't use Kirkland, Angel Soft, Cottonelle, or any other brand intended for home use. We've been using those brands for nearly 10 years and I know we're on borrowed time! That clog is just around the corner! Getting ready to switch over to magical RV TP!

You know all those "sale ads" that come in the Sunday newspaper? Well my wife and I recycle them by using those ads as our RV toilet paper. A Sears & Roebuck catalog is hard to come by now a days!!!:B

I don't put anything in my tank for any odor treatment. Proper tank flushing will take care of it for you. I am fortunate to have a built in flush for mine though.

All I use is water. No need to deodorize the black tank, all the nasty stuff is kept within the tank.
