You and others will probably not like this but if you're looking at a trailer 35' long you need to reconsider your TV. As for hitches, I have towed upwards of 100,000 miles with an EazLift Elite which is about as basic and antique as they come. I have worn out another one and just today my EazLift Trekker came in. I haven't towed with it yet but is has the trunion bars with built in sway control. Two things sold me on it. First is the ability to disengage the sway control when conditions warrant. I never liked permanent sway control. Second was the price. $460.00 delivered from Amazon. It looks like a pretty beefy set up. Yes, it's Chinese steel but individual components are available if you wear something out OR if your buy a heavier trailer later on. You can buy stouter bars without replacing the entire hitch. The only thing to grease is the ball. Disengaging the sway control is done by loosening two bolts located on the top of the hitch. It doesn't mean a whole lot,, but so far I'm pretty impressed with it.
