I have a separate hose for black tank flushing. When I am at the dump station, and I am using "non-Potable" water, I will use the separate hose. If I am at a FHU site, and I am using potable water, I switch the potable water hose from the city inlet to the black tank flush and will use it that way.
I don't want non-potable water from the dump station in my potable water hose. But, other than that, I see no reason not to use the potable water hose, on a potable water source, and connecting it up to the black tank flush valve.
