Yes, for some people it is near paranoia when it comes to germs.
And along with that supply water system failure your black tank would need to be FULL and pressurized in order to back flow thru sprayer, up the flusher line, jump across the air gap (not run down inside RV) and have enough pressure & flow left to get into hose.
