White hose
I’m wondering if I need to always use a white hose for the travel trailer if we don’t drink the water.

I've had very good luck with the Camco blue water hoses. Forget the cheap hose from Walmart; I've thrown away a couple of those. They kink so bad they're virtually unusable.
I bought the Camco 20 ft. hose that breaks down into two 10 ft sections which I found to be handy if you don't have to go very far with the hose. They don't kink and they're very heavy duty. Would definitely buy this one again.
I could not find that 20 ft. one anymore on Amazon but it looks identical to the 50 ft hose posted in this link and they offer it in a 25 ft too:
