All the same. They are ALL poorly built! The more expensive ones are better. The cheaper ones are really bad because of budget and time restrictions while manufacturing and cheaper parts.
I disagree with this statement. You're saying that Airstream, Lance EvergreenRV and Northwood Mfg are putting out inferior products?
WoodGlue - moose888ExplorerWe love our Dynamax 350SL "great unit".

Who do you think makes the best travel trailers?
there are only three major manufactures left, Thor/Forest River/Jayco .... of the three, I'd pick Jayco
Jim
perhaps not "major" but I liked the construction of my Ascend.

- rockportrocketExplorerGood question, BUT, what price range are you speaking of? You can still buy custom built fiver and trailers, if you pay the piper.

OP: You never did clarify what type of RV you're looking into...Travel Trailer? 5th Wheel? Class C? Class B? Class A? Truck Campers? They all have different manufacturers so letting us know what you're planning would make a big difference. Help us please!!!

The opening post seems pretty clear to me:kamperdog wrote:

- tpiExplorerAs former Airstream 25' Safari owner I'd say it was pretty well made. But for overall ease of maintenance in a trailer, I'd recommend the fiberglass eggs. Namely Escape 19' and Casita 17. There is less potential for leaks in these units and less to rot out if there is a leak. Both the Escape and Casita are well made, easy to tow, and nice products if you can use a smaller RV.
