We have several of these, mostly used in the stick house. I have one in the kitchen that I use and abuse constantly, as do the kids. It still works perfectly with zero damage after 5 years of constant useage. Folds flat enough that we store it behind the fridge. It is extremely sturdy and stable, doesn't tip at all when I am off center and on tippy-toe on one foot to reach the top shelf of our stupid tall cabinets.
