I have never forgot, because when I hitch up, I always check the brake controller to be sure it reads anything.
Now, last fall (a year ago), my Springdale brakes quit working. It took 3 different trips to the repair shop to finally get it figured out. Between each visit, the brakes quit, and then driving to the repair shop without brakes too.
On one trip home, we took all back roads, barley got over 30 mph and started braking at stop signs way, way back. Hairy ride to say the least. No, never forgot, but have driven on purpose when brakes were out!
