My wife and I recently went to an RV show. I cannot believe the generally bad quality that I saw in many units, no matter how high the cost. Current RV's remind me of the American-made automobiles back in the 60's,70's and 80's. We, the consumer, bought junk cars because we had no other choice. If an American- made car went 100,000 miles we had winner. When the Japanese came on the market with Honda's and Toyota's, the quality bar was raised much higher. It took the American automakers several years to catch up in quality.
I have such a bad taste for American-made cars that I don't think I will ever buy one again. Just my opinion.
The RV manufacturers need to get their act together and greatly improve the quality of their products.
