Get you meter out and park both trucks side by side mad make sure both trucks match these photos the same on every pin. When something doesnt match you will have found your problem.
I just has an 02 GMC in the other day that everything worked except the running lights. It turned out to be a broken wire in the truck harnedd about 6 inches before the socket.
