Bill - If it's "closed" it's still there to see. You just can't reply to it.
Seems odd there would be problem-makers in the WorKamping forum. - You don't have to read very far in that forum to get the answer to why it is done that way.
- As said above, it's still there for anyone to read. If you want the job call them up, if you don't then it's not a problem. Hundreds of people read those posts so I would think it works just fine like it is. When it's closed no one can, or needs to, comment. Again, if you want to reply go for it.
- I see now. Just would not have guessed a Workamper forum would be full of rowdy malcontents.

This procedure has been discussed in the past here and it has been discussed amongst committee and administration and it will remain as is.

Yeah, it kinda is different. Every Workamper I've ever met has been a "mellow mushroom" type. I just couldn't imagine them causing a ruckus.
They just all seem so nice!
And the subject of Workamping in itself wouldn't seem to lead to the diverse opinoins as, say guns, trucks, why people park at Wal-Mart, diesel vs gasser and the like.
