I buy my hard to find RV accessories at my local RV dealer. The items are much less expensive, and just across the hill. Example. Vent cover. $11.00 at Terrill, $14.00 at CW. CW is just TOO expensive. Some things, like chemicals, and hoses, I get at Wally World.
My theory as why CW is so popular. Every one sees them on TV, and most, being new to RVing. Believe they need to get RV supplies from a RV dealer. And the name Camping World, suggest knowledge. They don't realize. Nearly every thing sold at CW, or any dealer really. Is available else where.
IN NC, Camping World took over the RV show up town. The NC dealer association, which CW is not a member of. Had their show the same weekend, in the older venue. Guess where everyone was. You guessed it. At the NC Dealer show. Larger selection, better prices, friendlier location. Few went to the CW show. After all. Really only one dealer there.
