I love Camping World. I don't go there because I am price shopping, I go because of the selection. I go there because, anytime I have a problem with a product, they have solved that problem. As well they have knowledgeable staff and have often steered me to a better product choice.
My problem is, I go in to buy 20.00 worth of merchandise and go home with 100.00 worth. I am like a kid in a candy shop. They have the selection and staff that makes the buying experience a pleasure. Even if I spend a little more, I like to hold it in my hand and look at it's strong or weak points before I buy it. They are the one stop RV accessory shop and I will support them, because they have supported me when I had a problem, and they support the RV'ers in many ways. When you work hard to become the industry leader, people always want to pull you down.
You are the customer that fits CW's business model. Someone that enjoys coming into the store and seeing everything. I am also that guy.
Sure I buy things on the net. But I also enjoy browsing through CW's when I come across them. There is nothing like seeing things in person. Buying on the internet is often cheaper, but it is always sterile with no human interaction.
Once again are capitalistic nature chooses money over anything else. This attitude is usually driven from the top by corporate America, but as we see in this thread consumers can also drive the all that matters is money attitude. Unfortunately this is the direction are society is headed.
