Camping World is not the only supplier with high prices. Other, smaller RV parts suppliers are pretty high-priced as well. I do like CW for the large selection they carry and if I really need an item I'll buy it there. Last year, while encamped in Albuquerque I nearly lost a vent cover due to extremely high winds. The local Camping World was practically within walking distance. I purchased Maxx Air covers at a price not too far above prices I've seen elsewhere. It was a matter of convenience and I'm glad CW was there.
On a different note, I'm not pleased with the quality of many items sold for RV's. Many products are not worth the asking price, IMO but if you need/want it you have to pay the asking price.
