Why JEEP?
Wife and I seem to see more Jeeps as toads than anything else. Is there something special about the Jeep as a toad?

- Having a Jeep gets you into a whole new world. Going off-road takes you to such beautiful places that you can't imagine. It makes your towed vehicle actually useful. :) We've enjoyed ours for the past 10 years.
If you don't plan to ever travel the backroads then don't get a Jeep. There are other vehicles that you can town 4-down. rr2254545 wrote:

If my little Sprinter chassis had a little more towing capacity that is what I would have but I went with a Subaru Crosstrek for the lighter weight. I still have an AWD and can go places, not as many as a Jeep, and still explore off the beaten path.Old-Biscuit wrote:

All around vehicle - The Jeep transfer case has a rear drive shaft driven oil pump so it is ideal for towing.
- 4X4s with a transfer case are some of the easiest vehicles to attach as a toad.
