Why no ignitor on RV stove?

Sounds like a low end (cheap) range if it has no ignitor.

Are you sure you don’t push one of the knobs down to activate the igniter? One of them would have a little lightening bolt on it.

Some of the lower end units don’t have an igniter. Our current MH has a twist type igniter.

Yes, I’m certain. It must just be a cheap stove unit.
Just seems strange. Heck, a $49 little propane bbq even has an ignitor!

For as much as we use it, the butane lighter will probably last another 5 years…

Our Atwood Wedgewood stove had a piezo twist ignitor originally that I converted to an electronic push button ignitor. The ignitor uses a single AA battery that last at least a year. The original ignitor did not lite the oven pilot, but I have the parts to correct that when I get the requisite "roundtoit".

You’d have to throw in your awesome stick shift Mega Cab though, cause I don’t have on of them anymore, because the brodozer we got now would have to do the Carolina squat just to hook a 5ver!

I’ve seen a few articles. About putting an igniter on the oven. Search them out.

I found an Easy Solution. No installation required.
