My water filtration come-to-Jesus moment was the 1993 Milwaukee Cryptosporidiosis outbreak. I got to see first hand what bad water can do.
Though this stuff rarely happens, for full-time RVing I installed a complete water filtration system -- sediment & carbon block filters, water softener, UV filter, and an under-the-sink RO (Reverse Osmosis) system.
