IMO your skin is like a sponge... In a home or RV filter out sediment and chlorine. Sediment so it dont mess with your plumbing and fixtures/water heater.
Chlorine so it dont absorb through your skin or inhalled through water vapor in shower..
For that carbon block is the way to go. Ideally you want a sediment and carbon block dual filter..
Now for drinking..
RO is the way to go..
It filters down to 001 micron..
For those that say ro or distilled is not good to drink I would like to know why?
FYI you get your vitamins from food you eat.. not from water.. If you say its a PH thing, well your stomach is a #2 on the PH scale...
Orange juice coffee etc is acidic... Hey who drinks soda?
Just all my opinion above...
Bottled water is always filtered or RO of some sort..I use bottles for RV use drinking/cooking..
I have RO for home drinking, but am on well... no chlorine...
Best for all you RV'ers trying to save money on bottled water get a portable RO unit. I use and recommend these. As a plumber I install the residentials..
Make a pitcher of water and put in the fridge...
Our water sources are being polluted at a staggering rate...
