Brown might just be iron pipe rusting (Very common) Many times I have re-charged a water pipe to see brown water flow. Not indicative of a problem.

I run good filters on the RV though.. Many parks I can not drink the water "Raw" but filtered (Double filtered in most cases) it is very good, And crystal clear.

First filter ia a home made charcoal job 2nd is Brita.
