First time I looked at the site, I wasn't able to spot the water rejection line. That would drive my wife nuts, having it drain from the faucet down to the sink - I'd have to rig up another hose to send it directly down the drain as silently as possible.
Yes it can drive you nuts. I work in a lab with a RO system that drains the waste water into a sink. It comes on every few hours automatically to flush the membrane, regardless of use. It's pretty weird to suddenly hear water running when you didn't turn anything on. Took me a while to get used to it.
