Why?
I often see step ladders tied to RV ladders, but I never really understood why. What are you using these for?

- I have two collapsible ladders - one step ladder and the other a regular type. Both fit in basement storage. With my gasser Class A, I could put a regular step ladder in pass-through basement storage. Can't do that with my pusher.
There are a gazillion uses for ladders. I think I've used them all at one time or another.

Take me to your ladder, I'll see your leader later... - A step ladder is one of those things you don't need until you need it. One of the best things I ever did was start carrying a step ladder. I'm amazed at how often I use it.

Tie them together and you have 450 pound capacity no?:B- I climbed up the factory installed ladder once just to look at the roof. When I got back on the ground, just for fun, I tried to step up into my 'C' while holding onto both legs just above the ankles to simulate my position when taking that final step.
If my roof needs something done, I'll hire somebody. - I use a ladder to:
Sweep off the slide before I pull it in (no slide topper)
Ditto for the awning
And to put the XM radio antenna on the roof when we get set up. - Brand new 5er, $100,000.

$35 Kmart yellow and blue ladder strapped off of the back like the grapes of wrath; Priceless! :B - I carry one to hang our Oregon hot air balloon wind thing and to tie off our kayaks on the truck racks. Also sometimes use it to find a good spot for the XM antennae.
- We needed to carry one for putting the sun shades on the front and side windows.
Also was handy for cleaning hard to reach areas. Ours would fit in a side compartment. - I have mine for two reasons. I can reach the sides to clean and wax and the other is to be able to start climbing the ladder that is on the back, I am getting old and I franklly do not want to brake a leg trying to get off the RV's ladder or trying to reach the clearence lights.
