I would check on that when the swelling came out of my eyes! - How about putting on 2 pair of heavy wool socks and then your "shoes" won't feel so hot...
- They have battery powered heated socks. Search the NET to see if Amazon or eBay comes up with battery powered cooling socks.
Surely your DW is open to better living through technology??? - Shoes in freezer and the wife takes issue about them being stored there?
Make sure yer really poor, tell this to the judge and you'll be divorced in no time at all.
Then put in your application in for "The Bachelor" and watch how fast you'll be fought over on national TV::@
The things you learn on rv.net. - 35 years ago I got rid of my 2nd wife. I've had this one 31 years and I let her do whatever she wants----- no make that I do whatever she wants. Believe me, it's cheaper this way.

- Maybe it's time to break out that old Coleman ice chest stuck away in the rafters of the garage. Fill it with ice, leave it outside the door of the camper, stick your shoes in it, and tell your wife you just got $10.00 worth of fishing worms and they are in that cooler! She'll never look! Wife is happy no shoes in the refrigerator, and you still get cooled down shoes.
