We use a temp stik that monitors temp and humidity as well as internet connection. When we are away I set it to check every 15 mins. While this gives us piece of mind on temp it does not give us video of Lucky and Lucie. We are going to get the Amazon cloud cam with four video cameras to go along with this. Three cameras will stay home using dsl connection and the other one will go in our fiver using the hot spot. I know when you are leaving on your next trip so you will have to move fast if you want anything by then.
The temp stick sends you a text and an email to your smart phone. It sells in the 130 to 150 dollar range.
