I've never been to a campground, public or private, that didn't have a rule against leaving dogs unattended, period. Actually saw one camper thrown out for leaving his barking dogs in his motorhome.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE dogs- Have had Akitas for 30 years. But it is irresponsible to the dog and your neighbors to leave them unattended in a campground. Sure, fluffy never barks, never poops on the neighbor's yard at home, and wouldn't hurt a flea......when you are present. Dog behavior is often different when the pack leaders aren't there.
Frankly, I'm shocked at this thread.
