Will 20 mos. old be to young for Yellowstone?
Trying to plan something for our 2 week vacation in August, i started thinking seriously about yellowstone and area. My wife thinks our biy will be a bit to young for the area, which i didnt consider...

I would not take a child that young where you could be on trails that may be dangerous. A 5 year old girl fell to her death along a trail to the top of one of the falls while we were there last summer. It only takes a second for a child to get away, and a 500 foot drop like that child took is unforgiving.
Carrying a child or having them in a stroller all the time will make for a cranky child. A child needs some freedom. One misstep off of a boardwalk around a pool or hot spring could also be dangerous. We took our children on vacations when they were that young, but not to a place that is full of warning signs.
