You'll have to cater to them, but it's doable. Toddlers can have fun anywhere and you don't have to be at Yellowstone to do something with your kid that others might think is dangerous. Driving to the grocery store is dangerous.
My children were 18 months old when they went 4 wheeling, tubing and jet skiing. My oldest boy is in boy scouts and they camped outside when it was 15 degrees this winter. Honestly, that scared me more than anything they've done yet.
