I took/take (she is now 6 years old) my baby/toddler everywhere and we always had/have fun. The baby won't care but you might. The real question here is do you mind dealing with the hassle? Maybe, maybe not. All that said, of all the National Parks, YS may be the least toddler friendly. We went to Zion, Bryce, Yosemite and many more but YS is not like those other parks. It just isn't as kid toddler friendly. Good luck and have a blast wherever you go!
For the record, in the last 20 years I have only lived in NYC and Los Angeles. My job may be in a major city but my heart is in the National Park system. :)
