Do you have any links or statistics to prove that statement? Or is it just a feeling?
Not sure it's ever been analyzed but when you compare a park such as Yellowstone where there are so many natural hazards vs. say a park like Acadia NP there are just more things that can come into play. Is Acadia without risk? Absolutely not-water, cliffs, traffic etc.-but when you factor in the things like mud pots and hot springs I believe the hand tilts towards YNP having more factors. It's more of a general statement.
