Will bearing issue heat entire drum or just the hub area?

Have one drum/hub that is uncomfortably hot vs the others being just warm on a tandem axle 4 horse trailer. Not just the hub portion, but also the outer part of the drum on the part the shoes press ag...

A bad bearing can heat the hub/wheel and tire especially on a long all day run at interstate speeds.
