Just some observations because I'm not a long-time camper. Lots of the "Mom and Pop" places to camp have not made it through the rough economic times and the corporate chains hire anyone who applies and meets their standards. They are merely employees who have no concern about how well the guests are treated and long as they obey the rules. I think this goes for nearly every kind of establishment, be it campground, hotel, or restaurant. Just like some have said, some people care for others and some don't. At home or on the road.
