Though they are both under the umbrella of "Lodging", hotels and RV Parks are about as dis-similar as any two businesses can be. The rules you see posted in RV parks are almost 100% exclusive to RV parks. People don't build campfires, don't tether their dogs outside of their rooms, don't park on the lawns, don't string clotheslines down the hall, don't walk through other people's rooms etc. in Hotels. It is generally accepted that you don't let your children run wild in the hallways of hotels. As others have pointed out, there are many rules in hotels, often posted in the rooms, a luxury RV parks do not have. Remember, people are bringing their "homes" with them to the RV park as opposed to renting a room at a hotel, so they tend to behave like they are at home. That may be good, and sometimes that is really, really bad.
Finally, bad behavior impacts an RV park's guests much more than a hotel. Trash your hotel room, that is between you and Conrad Hilton. Trash your RV site and the entire park has to see that mess.
