It's more the idea of the negative signs than what's prohibited...we keep to ourselves anyway. It sets the tone for your stay. I have read on rvparkreviews where people complain about cg owners driving by on their golf carts peering into campers' sites watching them etc. Also have had the experience a few times of not being able to use the sewer on a full hook up site for one reason or another or having no water available on same. Can you imagine checking into a Holiday Inn Express and not being able to use the bathroom?
It has made me rethink whether we want to continue camping and just use cabins/motel rooms instead, but the thought of sleeping in other people's beds stops me short of that!
