Will camprgounds ever fit hospitality standards?

Exactly, BigRabbit! Now that our fifth wheel is out for repairs (rubber roof blew off on the way home from vacation) I am questioning the value of staying at campgrounds, where it is assumed everyone is a troublemaking slob, as evidenced by the replies here...or a nice hotel/cabin where you are treated with respect and courtesy. Plus, more flexibility in traveling (not having to worry about overpasses or parking for spontaneous attraction stops).
