Sounds like you may be a cantidate for switching to a small class C or large class B. You get rid of the issues with size and parking flexibilty. Also easy to just drive in and spend a night in a cabin on occasion. But most of the time you will still have your own bed.
One of the reasons I own the coach I do is because it is easy to park almost anywhere as it is only 29' long and very manuverable. It is also only 9'6" tall so don't have hight issues. I relate to what you are saying and have solved it my way. Your's will be different.
