Thunder Mountain, you know what I'm talking about. Yes, there is a difference between a Motel 6 and the Hilton...but why should we all settle for the Motel 6 mentality, just because some people are slobs...I'm sure Las Vegas sees more than their share of slobs, yet the hotels I've stayed at remain classy. Campers just settle for it. Even though you paid more for your rig than many people pay for their homes. It would be nice to see cg owners take for pride and effort to keep up the standard...some do, most don't. Heck, have you seen the pathetic websites of most of the campgrounds! Instead of bemoaning the meager living cg owners make by running the sub-Motel 6 atmosphere, if they stepped up their game and improved the standard it would not only be good for us but the RV industry as well.
Again, not saying this is ALL campgrounds, only most. I'm not talking about long-term snowbird cg's for the most part. That's another animal entirely. I'm talking the short-term side of the road or cg's concentrated in tourist areas, like most of us younger campers with families want to camp at.
Well, Nurse Betty - -
How about we talk about some very BAD nursing experiences?
Not a pun either!
But to stay on (your) topic, I'm with the preponderance of the folks who have posted: - "No problem!"
If those hotels and motels ring your chimes better than the supposed negative campground experiences ("feelings") you have had.....maybe it's time to change your mode of accommodations when you travel!!
Sell the RV and give motels and hotels and Price Line dot com your patronage!.:C
Bill Shatner will appreciate your business -and-
say Hi to the bed bugs, ROTFL..:B
