I can honestly say I haven't ever noticed cg rules when pulling into a park. I judge my attitude based on the actions ofmthe staff. If I dont like thenway they treat us, I change the reservation to just one night and we look for somewhere else (that has only happened once, and was based on the attitude of the long term guest that made up about 80% of the park). Of course, my parents did a decent job of raising me, and I am considerate of others, so I don't have a lot of negative encounters with other campers, park staff or cg hosts.
I've never stayed at a park in Missouri, so can't comment on them. The last park we stayed at in Calif. was very welcoming, icluding giving us warm chocolate chip cookies for the family and treats for the dogs.
Like others, I have also stayed in a lot of hotels for work travel. I have had more bad experiences with staff or issues with the room than I ever have had at a cg.
I will also admit that I'm a glass is half full and pretty easy going guy generally and don't let little things get in the way of me enjoying my time away.
