I've been the victim of drunk Drivers twice, that I remember. The First time I was out in the family car and a drunk came over the line headed right for the car
I climbed an embankment but he still took off the Driver's mirror and out a streak down the side of the car.
Mom and Dad always preached against drinking even though Dad drunk a beeer whenever he was with his Brothers.
All the 7/11 type convenience stores/gas stations have these narrow brown bags, that just fit a large can or bottle of beer or booze. They sell a lot, of cold alcoholic drinks. These People aren't waiting until they get home and the drink has gotten hot to drink. They can bee seen going down the road taking a swig from a brown paper bag.
Drinking and driving is not for someone else that can't hold his alcohol.
There are all kinds of justifications and dodges, for open containers. Guess what: LEOs are stupid like a bunch, or People think. One or two somewhere sometime weren't drinking but had open containers, within reach but please don't think, that everyone is not as smart or crafty, as you and you can hold your liquor.
I'm not accusing anyone. No one I know would drink and drive their RV or car. Just hope none does it.
