No cell phones in those days. After I proceeded to the store and saw him in a service station on way back. He was drunk. The Manger or Attendant turned out to be a friend of his and it went down hill from there.
Dad said not to call the Law as we could not prove it was him or some such but I saw him and his mirror was gone and his window broken and my paint on his front bumper.
He was drunk!
