I called Winnebago after I had battery discharge problems and advised I could not locate the chassis disconnect and was advised that my model Motorhome did not come with the chassis disconnect. I asked about their ad and was told he did not know about it (and was not going to check it out). I had a disconnect installed and wrote to Winnegago and asked for reimbursement, once again they said my model did not come with one (no mention of their on line ad) and no payment
Maybe I'm missing something(s).
A) Why would you need a chassis battery disconnect?
B) Why would you expect reimbursement for something they said wasn't included?
C) I installed a chassis disconnect (as a security feature) on a vehicle that was subject to tampering once, it was not lockable and parked out of reach of a charger if a light was left on. It cost about $10 and took 2 minutes to do. How much did you ask Winnie for?
