Probably for the same reason that the parent company of Polaris and Indian motorcycle bought Boat Holdings, the stock of boat companies hasn't recovered as quickly as the rest of the outdoor recreation market and they believe they can get more growth out of boats before the next crash than they can out of the primary lines.
