I saw that article too, but wouldn't rush to buy. Just because their stick dropped due to high inventory, doesn't mean good deals. Dealers can cut margins, the factory can slow down, and other steps are feasible. Whenever inventory gets unreasonably high, then the deals will start. The industry will also try to wait it out until after the spring buying season.
