This was our third winter in the CC area. We stay on Mustang Island at a park just south of Port Aransas. This was the coldest winter we've had but it wasn't really cold compared to what most of the country was experiencing. On the island temps never got to freezing although they did a few times in Corpus and Rockport. We had a number of days with temps in the 40's and overcast which weren't a lot of fun, but after a few days the sun always seems to come back out and the temps go to the 60's. The winds can be strong at times, but I think this year we had fewer very windy day. Yesterday, the temps were only about 60 at our park but with the strong sun it was quite warm.
