Winterizing question

If the trip is short and simple enough, I've seen people describe how they've used their winterized RV without using the water system.

Using water from jugs, using tubs in their sinks, dumping all water into the black tank so they have as much in there as possible for emptying at the end of the trip, etc.

You'd still have the climate control, cooking ability, refrigerator, etc. You'd just have to manage multiple 5gal water containers.

Hey, no problem! Actually, I've seen this question come up, one way or another, several times over the years. I always figure for every question asked there are several more wondering the same thing who don't ask. Have a great trip!

I've learned quite a few not so obvious things by reading these forums, that's why I asked. Thought there could have been a hack or shortcut I wasn't aware of yet. Thanks for the insight.

Why would you re-winterize it? Just because it is going to freeze and probably damage the water lines, re-winterizing is just a waste of time. Do it once per year!

Of course you will have to re-winterize or maintain heat in the RV to prevent frozen water lines and potential damage.

just me but i have not noticed any difference in flushing out the pink in summer vs winter.

Mine costs like $6 and 15 minutes to winterize. I dont understand why this would even come up as a thought.

Yes, if you use it you should probably rewinterize if it's going to freeze for extended periods. Much cheaper than running the furnace, unless it's only for a few days.
