Wiring Schematic for A/C

Here is one for the books......while attempting to discover what is wrong with my A/C heat pump Atwood told me there is no wiring schematic for the unit.....Now how are A/C tech's supposed to trace out wiring issues when there is no schematic .......I call BS on their statement....I am sure they told the installer / repair tech the same thing when he called them and that is why he gave me my unit back without it being repaired. One more reason to never buy an Atwood.....

    Hmmm. That's the kind of thing you hear when a company has been sold. The new owner gathers up all the intellectual property and their lawyers pour over it for a few weeks checking for potential liabilities. Eventually they release everything though.

    OTOH, you could have just talked to a newbie or an angry employee having a difficult day at Atwood. So wait a bit and try again.

    Also, the Atwood equipment I have the tech manual that came with the RV has a schematic. Don't know if they do that for heat pumps though.

    Finally, did you google the model number? Maybe someone in the universe posted a wiring diagram?
