- ppineExplorer IIIGloating about temperatures is for losers.
I would never show a map in the summer during a heat wave.
We live at 5,000 feet where it usually doesn't get hot and the humidity is often in single digits.
Every place has some advantages.
Personally I hate warm all the time. - fj12ryderExplorer IIII like warm weather, but I always figured I'd head to New Mexico or Arizona for warm weather if I got too tired of winter. Florida has never been in the running, just too flat and featureless.
- IdaDExplorerI'll pass. I have to go to Florida a couple of times a year for work and I actually really dislike the place. Different strokes I guess.
- RVcrazyExplorerLove the posts from rockhillmanor!!! We are chilly in Yuma, but not cold.
- Deb_and_Ed_MExplorer III actually love a fresh Michigan snowfall!

Of course these snowpaddles get difficult if the temps are below the mid-20's because the water freezes to the paddle, which ends up weighing 10 lbs....LOL! - rockhillmanorExplorer II
Got half a meter of snow and the way it covers everything looks like Christmas wonderland, very relaxing .....
A white Christmas in Florida, ahhhh.
- MNGeeks61ExplorerSaturday, I was up at our seasonal place. Sunday morning resulted in -26F to -28F air temps, luckily there was no wind. Wife stayed home to make cookies and had -45F with wind chill!
I am looking forward to a brief vacation in February in Texas. We're not getting any younger and finally the cold is getting to me a little bit. - dodge_guyExplorer II-14deg here in the NW suburbs of Chicago. yesterday we were out on the snowmobiles. it was 0deg! should be able to ice fish now!
