When we decided to buy an rv, it was me who did all the research, investigating, etc., to determine what we could afford, tow, etc. My darling hubby was in charge of going thru the trailer with a fine toothed comb, check out construction, etc. When we decided on the trailer, it was me who did the negotiations. I made it clear that I knew what I was talking about, that I would not take lies from anyone. Walked away from one dealership when the salesman and manager decided that they were the best thing since sliced bread and that I shouldn't worry about the extra $3500 they wanted to charge me. Said that their customer service was worth it. And I should "ask my husband what to do" they were very surprised when we walked. Just be knowledgeable and hang in there. There are decent places to purchase from. You will be fine
