Well ... "todays" women can and do suffer from the same problems as "todays" men can and do when shopping for something.
For instance, when shopping for a motorhome RV here are some things to consider. Would a man or women be better at looking for these kind of things before deciding on the purchase?:
- How many folks are concerned about how big, and what kind of, the batteries are that are in it?
- How many folks are concerned about how easy it is to get to, service, and replace the batteries so as to help not get acid on your clothes when doing it?
- How many folks are concerned about metal shielding behind the rear tires so a blowout doesn't destroy parts of the underside of the rear of the coach?
- How many folks are concerned about access to the water pump in case of failure when camped out in the middle of nowhere?
- How many folks are concerned about how to conveniently off-load the grey water tank into the black water tank because the grey water tank fills up so much faster than the black water tank and why have to find a dump station earlier than necessary?
- How many folks are concerned about motorized cab mirrors that can move low enough and high enough to see what's going on with the rear corners of the coach while driving forward or backward?
- How many folks are concerned with whether or not the coach batteries have a convenient switch to completely shut off the battery power to the coach for safety when refueling?
- How many folks are concerned with what system is on board to keep the fresh, grey, and black tanks from freezing when unexpectedly caught out on a camping trip in freezing weather?
- How many folks are concerned about whether or not a spare tire is conveniently located somewhere on the RV just in case the ERS person doesn't have your tire size and rim along when they come out to help you?
- Or in addition, how many folks are concerned about tire changing equipment being included by the manufacturer with the RV .... just in case you're on a lonely road and your cell phone can't connect?
- How many folks are concerned about the wiring in behind the coach cabinetry being sheathed in additional protective wraps to prevent shorts and/or mal-functions in the future as things age?
- How many folks are concerned about coach cabinetry door latches being metal instead of plastic?
- How many folks are concerned about coach cabinetry drawer slides being metal instead of plastic?
- How many folks are concerned about coach cabinetry drawers being gravity secured instead of latch secured?
- How many folks are concerned about ground clearance of all normally low hanging items under the coach?
- How many folks are concerned about fresh, grey, propane, and black tank capacities?
- How many folks are concerned about whether the roof material is all one piece or several pieces with seams?
- How many folks are concerned about whether the roof vents come with protective covers versus having to have them installed after purchase?
- How many folks are concerned about whether or not the awning comes with an unfurl lock?
- How many folks are concerned about whether the (propane) refrigerator is straight vertically vented for highest convection cooling efficiency or has a vent with an angle in it which may contribute to poor refrigerator performance in warm weather?
- How many folks are concerned about access to the valve on the back of the toilet, which can fail when camping and is easy to replace .... if you can get to it for removal and installation?
- How many folks are concerned about how the built-in generator is installed, since proper installation can make it much quieter to run?
- How many folks are concerned about ease of access to the top-sides of the screens in the vents so as to vacuum them off since they get real yucky every so often?
- How many folks are concerned about ease of access to the rooftop air conditioner's filter for periodic cleaning?
- Etc.?
