So my advise to you...and I hate to even say it, is: Bring a Man with you when shopping.
Seriously? So, as women, we can help the neanderthals continue their bigotry? Not on your life. That comment is incomprehensible coming from a woman. Why am I starting to smell a rat here?
I think the OP meant "bring a man along as "bait", so a salesperson will come out and talk intelligently to you". Yes, there ARE neanderthals out there - I run into them, too. And it's incredibly stupid on the part of a business to treat women like they're children, IMO, because very often (in the case of a purchasing couple), the female is doing the preliminary scouting. SHE will bring the other half back if she finds what she likes.
I suppose you could call a dealership, get a receptionist, and simply ask the name of a saleperson who will "deal with a woman buyer". Like Santa, they'll know who's nice and who's not. Or look at the sales staff on their website and see if they have any women sales reps. It would save you from walking away from a boor, and possibly missing a great RV or vehicle at a good price. If you don't have the name of someone specific, when you walk onto their lot, you become an "Up" (as in "next up") and you'll get whoever is in the sales rotation.
Another thought: shoot them an email. See who is hungry enough (or at least thoughtful enough) to answer back?
