Back in 2013 we took 'the big circle' trip, 10 weeks and 9000 miles. From Tennessee we went up to Mt. Rushmore and then out to the Olympic Penn. then down to the Grand Canyon then on to the Gulf coast in TX , along the coast to LA. MS. and then over to Mobile AL. then back up to home in TN. The most I paid then was 3.94/gal. and that was high then too. Total cost for gas for the trip was around 2600 bucks. The wife and I just had a conversation about this today and we said we are going to go at least a FEW places this year. I just filled up today at 3.29/gal....97 bucks.
